Description:
Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi offers four different university-funded scholarships to both in-state and out-of-state undergraduate students. These scholarships can be used for tuition and mandatory fees, depending on the available funds. The scholarships are awarded based on specific criteria and are automatically renewed every year as long as the student continues to meet these eligibility requirements.

To apply for the scholarship, students must first submit their ApplyTexas admission application by February 1, 2025. Additionally, they must submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by March 1, 2025, to be considered for the scholarship.

Eligibility:

To maintain eligibility for the scholarship, students must meet the following requirements:

  • Submit high school transcripts by February 1, 2025.
  • Complete a FAFSA every year by March 1.
  • Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 at the end of each academic year, including fall, spring, and summer terms.
  • Enroll in a minimum of 12 semester credit hours each fall and spring semester at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
  • Complete at least 30 credit hours each academic year to remain eligible.
  • Avoid any break in enrollment or eligibility.

The scholarship can be renewed for up to eight consecutive semesters (fall and spring) as long as the eligibility criteria are met and the student works towards completing their first undergraduate degree.
