The University Center for International Education (UCIE) at Wright State University offers the Graduate Merit Scholarship to recognize academically exceptional international students. This merit-based scholarship is available for students who are enrolling for the 2024-25 or 2025-26 academic years. Scholarships range in value from $2,500 to $5,000 per year, depending on the student's eligibility and available funds. Eligibility:
To be eligible for the UCIE Graduate Merit Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be an international student on an F1 visa.
- Be subject to a non-resident tuition surcharge.
- Receive only one merit scholarship or tuition discount (except for the CECS Graduate Remediation Scholarship).
- Enroll as a full-time graduate student.
- Apply early to ensure availability of funds, as awards are granted based on fund availability.
- The scholarship can only be used for non-resident graduate tuition fees.
- Applicants must have a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 2.7 or higher.
