Description:
The Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Scheme (CSSS) aims to support talented students from developing Commonwealth countries who have outstanding academic potential but face financial barriers to studying in the United Kingdom. The scholarship provides an opportunity for postgraduate study, helping recipients contribute to the development of their home countries upon completion of their studies.
Eligibility:
To be eligible for these scholarships, applicants must:

Be a citizen of or have refugee status in an eligible Commonwealth country, or be a British Protected Person.

Be a permanent resident of an eligible Commonwealth country.

Be available to begin academic studies in the UK by the start of the UK academic year in September 2025.

Hold a first degree with a classification of First or upper second class (2:1), plus a relevant postgraduate qualification (typically a Master's degree). If applying for a second UK Master's degree, justification for the study must be provided.

Not have studied or worked for one academic year or more in a high-income country.

Demonstrate financial need and be unable to afford to study at a UK university without this scholarship.
