Description: The Vice Chancellor’s International Excellence Scholarship is designed to assist high-achieving international students from South-East Asia who are beginning their undergraduate or postgraduate studies at the University of Waikato, New Zealand. This scholarship is valued at NZD$15,000 and is awarded to applicants who show exceptional academic performance. The scholarship aims to support students who demonstrate both academic excellence and potential in their chosen fields of study. Eligible applicants will be able to apply for this opportunity and receive financial support during their studies at Waikato.
Eligibility: To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Citizenship: You must be a citizen of one of the following South-East Asian countries: Brunei, Burma, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor Leste, or Vietnam. If you are not from these countries, you should apply under the Vice-Chancellor’s International Excellence Scholarship for other regions.
- Programme Enrollment: You must be applying for full-time enrolment in an undergraduate or postgraduate programme at the University of Waikato as a new international student.
- Offer of Place: You must have received a conditional or unconditional offer to study at the University of Waikato.
- Academic Qualifications: You must have a minimum GPA equivalent to B+ in the qualification used for your entrance to the University of Waikato.
