Description:
The Dean’s Asia Scholarship was established in 2011, funded by the University of Auckland Business School. The primary goal of this scholarship is to support international students from Asia who are enrolling in their first year at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland. It aims to help these students pursue a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), Bachelor of Property (BProp), or an associated conjoint degree at the University of Auckland Business School.

This scholarship is designed to provide financial assistance, making it easier for international students to study in New Zealand. The scholarship covers both tuition fees and the cost of compulsory health insurance, ensuring that students have one less thing to worry about while studying abroad.

Eligibility:
To be considered for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be an international student from any country in Asia.
  • Be a new student who has received either a conditional or unconditional offer of admission to a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), Bachelor of Property (BProp), or an associated conjoint degree. Applicants must be applying with secondary or post-secondary qualifications from overseas.
  • Be enrolled, or planning to enroll, full-time in one of the above-mentioned degrees at the University of Auckland Business School in the upcoming year.

Students who are already studying at Waipapa Taumata Rau, or have previously studied in New Zealand at any secondary or tertiary level, are not eligible for this scholarship.
