Description:
This scholarship program provides the opportunity for international students to continue their academic journey in Germany through a postgraduate course of study. The scholarships are funded by the German Federal Foreign Office and support students pursuing further education at a state or state-recognized university in Germany.

Eligibility:

• Applicants must have completed their first degree (e.g., Bachelor’s or Diplom) by the time the funding period begins.
• Funding is not available for Master’s programs already started in Germany.
• The scholarship covers a complete postgraduate or Master’s degree at a state or state-recognized university in Germany.
• Alternatively, applicants can apply if they have completed at least one year of study in Germany as part of a second or Master’s degree, with academic credits from Germany being recognized by their home university. This should not extend the standard period of study at the home university.
