Description:
The Learning Potential Fund is a scholarship initiative designed to support students in financial need. It offers a vital source of assistance for international students pursuing their undergraduate degrees at Queensland University of Technology (QUT). The scholarship aims to ease financial burdens, enabling students to focus on their studies and academic growth. Established by Ms. Nina Alahakoon and Dr. Hamid Amini-Moghadam in 2022, this scholarship recognizes the unique challenges faced by international students. Both Nina and Hamid, as international students themselves, are deeply aware of the financial and personal obstacles that students face when studying away from home. Through this scholarship, they hope to provide an opportunity for students to continue their education without the stress of financial difficulties. The value of the scholarship is $5,000 for one year, and it is available to those who demonstrate a genuine need for financial support.
