Description:

The Creating Opportunity Fund Scholarship was established in 2018 to support students who face financial hardships and barriers to higher education. This scholarship is designed to help commencing students who may have faced challenging circumstances such as relocation from a regional or remote area, being from a single-parent household, being the first in their family to attend university, or overcoming other difficulties like domestic violence or ongoing medical conditions. It also supports students from non-English speaking backgrounds, those from socially or culturally disadvantaged backgrounds, or those adjusting to life in Australia as refugees.

The scholarship aims to reduce the financial burden on students so they can focus on their studies and make the most of their university experience. It provides a financial assistance of $4,000 to help students with their academic journey.
