Scholarship value:
- The Award is a tuition fee reduction of 20% per annum for the duration of the enrolled coursework program.
- The Award will cover only up to the approved credit points on offer.
Description:
The purpose of the Award is to provide assistance with tuition fees for international students from India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and Latin America countries1 who are commencing a relevant degree program at The University of Queensland in 2024.
Eligibility:
A student is eligible for the Award if they:
- are an international student who is a passport holder of India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, or a Latin America country (refer footnote1);
- have applied to undertake studies at UQ on a full-time basis in a relevant coursework program commencing in 2024 and have received an offer;
- will enrol full time (8 units per semester unless otherwise required according to a student’s study plan);
- have satisfied the program entry rank and English language proficiency requirements;
- have not received another scholarship or tuition fee reduction or rebate from UQ;
- have not received a full scholarship/sponsorship from another organisation (applicants with partial scholarships/sponsorships will be considered at the University’s discretion).
