Description:

The SMC Foundation Scholarship Program offers a simplified process for applying to over 300 scholarships. These awards come from various sources including the Santa Monica College Foundation’s endowment, local service clubs, and other private or off-campus organizations. This year alone, over $1.1 million in scholarships were awarded to deserving students. With more than $500,000 in scholarships available this year, the program provides a wide range of financial assistance options for students. The scholarships support students in need of financial assistance, as well as those who have demonstrated excellence in their academic pursuits.

Eligibility:

• Open to all majors

• Available to both continuing and transfer students

• Part-time students (enrolled in 6+ units) and full-time students (12+ units) can apply

• A minimum GPA of 2.5 is required

• Financial need is considered for some scholarships, but not all

• Students who already hold a Bachelor’s degree are not eligible
